Last night, November 14, The Williamstown Theatre Festival honored the Festival's renowned Training Programs at its Annual Benefit, 'We The Future' at the Edison Ballroom in New York City. The evening, hosted by Award-winning comedian (and Williamstown veteran) Lewis Black, featured former WTF alumni Tony Goldwyn (Promises, Promises; 1981 Non-Equity Company), Kathryn Hahn (Revolutionary Road, 1997 Non-Equity Company) and Constantine Maroulis ('American Idol,' 2002 WTF Apprentice), performing with members of the 2011 Apprentice and Non-Equity companies. Melora Marshall directs Theatricum's one-of-a-kind, signature production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, opening on Sunday, June 6 at 3:30 pm.

Williamstown Theatre Festival (Nicholas Martin, Artistic Director; Joe Finnegan, General Manager) announced today that Jenny Gersten has been named the company's new Artistic Director. Gersten will succeed current Artistic Director Nicholas Martin, who will depart after the upcoming 2010 summer season.

Nicholas Martin has been named Artistic Director of the Williamstown Theatre Festival (WTF), effective November 1, 2007, it was announced by WTF Board President Matt Harris. After a successful and productive three year tenure as the Artistic Director of the WTF, Roger Rees will step down to move on to other opportunities.
