Paper Mill Playhouse presents the East Coast premiere of Half Time, a new musical, with book by Bob Martin and Chad Beguelin, music by Matthew Sklar, lyrics by Nell Benjamin and additional music by Marvin Hamlisch and Ester Dean. Half Time began performances May 31, 2018 for a limited engagement through Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, NJ. Last night was the show's opening night. BROADWAY BARKS is taking over Shubert Alley again on Saturday, July 14, 2018 for the 20th anniversary of the star-studded dog and cat adoption event that benefits New York City animal rescue groups. The event, co-founded by Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore, features Broadway celebrities who use their star power to help find loving homes for animals in need from28 participating NYC area shelters.

Paper Mill Playhouse, recipient of the 2016 Regional Theatre Tony Award, will host an online contest to promote their production of HALF TIME, the new musical about not acting your age. 'Generations,' The Half Time Dance Contest is a social contest where participants will film a video of multiple generations of their family dancing to whatever music moves them. Can your grandma twerk? Can your dad pop and lock? Can you teach a parent how to dance? We want to see it!

Dennis Grimaldi will present Tony®Award-winner Len Cariou (Sweeney Todd) in two staged readings ofHarry Townsend's Last Stand, a new play by George Eastman.  Directed by two-time Emmy®Award-winner Peter Scolari (Wicked) and featuring Warren Bub ('Gotham'), the readings will be held on Monday, May 21 and Tuesday, May 22 at 3pm at Nola Studios (250 West 54th Street - 10th Floor/Studio 1).

An executive producer for 'The Facts of Life,' he wrote for 'Bewitched,' 'The Bob Newhart Show,' 'M*A*S*H*', 'The Mary Tyler Moore Show', and 'All InThe Family.'

Paper Mill Playhouse announced today the full cast and creative team for the East Coast premiere of Half Time. The newest addition to this stellar cast is Tony award winner and Broadway legend Donna McKechnie.
