Five actor-musicians will bring Johnny Cash's musical catalog to life in Actors Theatre of Indiana's 2024-2025 Season opener RING OF FIRE: The Music of Johnny Cash.

On March 27th, at 7:30PM, the renowned clarinetist Charles Neidich will perform a concert at Greenfield Hall of the Manhattan School of Music.

Even though some of the language and jokes in the script are definitely cringe-worthy today, the performance of Run for Your Wife at Oyster Mill Playhouse is genuinely funny, and audiences that enjoy a fast-paced, well-acted farce will have an enjoyable evening.

New York City-based Daniel Gwirtzman Dance Company kicks off its 25th Anniversary Season this summer with the premiere of Everybody Can Dance, a 20-minute performance, followed by 40 minutes of social dance instruction with Daniel and the Company.

Jonathan Church, Artistic Director of Theatre Royal Bath's Summer Season, today announces the opening shows for its 2019 programme which will see much-loved British comedian Jennifer Saunders star as Madame Arcati in Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit directed by Richard Eyre, and Rupert Everett making his directorial stage debut in Anton Chekhov's Uncle Vanya in which he will also play the title role in a new version by David Hare. Blithe Spirit will run from 13 June to 6 July with opening night for press on 19 June, followed by Uncle Vanya from 18 July to 3 August with opening night for press on 24 July, both in the Main House. Further casting and the full summer programme will be announced in due course.

Never ones to shy away from a challenge (Little Shop of Horrors, Pirates of Penzance, Sweeney Todd), the CCTeens (Columbia Children's Theatre's YouTheatre actors in grades 7-12) will tackle the award-winning Urinetown: The Musical January 25-27. 

The Hunterdon Hills Playhouse is presenting the outrageous adult comedy, Run For Your Wife by Ray Cooney, adapted and directed by Ken Schwarz. The Playhouse, well known for its entertainment and dining, is delighting audiences with this new American version of the play.

Now on stage at Canton Village Theatre is Spotlight Players' production of the musical ANNIE. Directed by John Sartor, this version adds wonderful scenes that improve the storyline even better than before. During the awkward moments when the curtain was down and set changes were being made, Sartor had little boys walk about the stage, selling apples - it was a brilliant use of time. Sartor also added interesting scenes, such as FDR reading a fireside speech from one of the side satellites, opening the show with Annie's parents dropping her off at Hudson Street home for girls as an infant, an amazing subway set where pedestrians rose to the stage from the pit as if exiting the subway line, and a climax with jetted streamers and pyrotechnics.

Gary Barlow and Tim Firth's new British musical, The Girls, based on the true story, the film and the award-winning play by Tim Firth, Calendar Girls, opened in London's West End at the Phoenix Theatre. The West End premiere follows sold-out runs at the Grand Theatre Leeds and the Lowry Salford late 2015/early 2016. In the West End, the producers have made a commitment to there being no 'premium-rated' seats, no booking fees and reduced price previews.

From 9 December 2016 to 18 March 2017, Edward Bennett and Lisa Dillon will delight audiences at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in Christopher Luscombe's elegant, effervescent productions.

In Ray Cooney's British farce, Caught in the Net, for nearly two decades, taxi driver John Smith has been living a double life and has successfully kept both lives from colliding into one another. On this particular day, Smith's idyllic world is about to come crashing down. His daughter Vicky in Wimbledon and his son Gavin in Streatham serendipitously have met online, unaware of their relationship, feel a connection, and want to me in person.

They're bobbing their hair and raising their hemlines as CCT's YouTheatre presents the 2002 Broadway bombshell Thoroughly Modern Millie Jr. May 6-8.
