The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center announced today that Monte Cristo Cottage, boyhood summer home of Eugene O?Neill , setting for two of his most revered plays, Long Day?s Journey Into Night and Ah, Wilderness!, will be open for public tours Thursday, May 27 through Labor Day weekend; Thursday through Saturday, noon to 4 pm; Sundays 1-3 pm. The Cottage will be closed on Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Photographer Martha Swope, recipient of the 2004 Tony Award for Excellence in Theatre, will be honored by The Humane Society of New York on Tuesday, April 27 at a Benefit Photography Auction at the DVF Studio, 440 West 14th Street, from 6-9 pm. Swope will be honored with an exhibit of her work taken while she was official photographer for the New York City Ballet, Martha Graham Dance Company, Dance Theatre of Harlem, and Broadway. Her images include legends such as Baryshnikov, Jerome Robbins, Balanchine, Suzanne Farrell, and Liza Minnelli.

The birthplace of the hit musical Annie, Goodspeed Musicals is holding auditions for local Equity and Non-Equity child actors (GIRLS between ages 10-13) for its upcoming production of the new musical Radio Girl. Auditions will be held on Saturday, April 24th, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Goodspeed's Norma Terris Theatre in Chester, Conn.
