The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center announced today that Monte Cristo Cottage, boyhood summer home of Eugene O?Neill , setting for two of his most revered plays, Long Day?s Journey Into Night and Ah, Wilderness!, will be open for public tours Thursday, May 27 through Labor Day weekend; Thursday through Saturday, noon to 4 pm; Sundays 1-3 pm. The Cottage will be closed on Memorial Day and Labor Day.

OPERA America, the national service organization for opera, is pleased to announce details of Opera Conference 2010: New Realities | New Strategies, to be held in Los Angeles, California from June 9 to 12. Co-hosted by LA Opera, this largest gathering of opera professionals in North America will convene at the Omni Hotel at California Plaza in downtown Los Angeles, across from the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.

FAMILY DINNER, a new play by Michele Willens, will be given its world-premiere Off-Broadway this summer in a production directed by Jamibeth Margolis at the Beckett Theatre on Theater Row (410 W. 42 St.) in Manhattan, with previews beginning June 17 prior to an official press opening June 21.

Since its formation at the Yale School of Music, So Percussion has been creating music that is at turns raucous and touching, barbarous and heartfelt. Swope will be honored with an exhibit of her work taken while she was official photographer for the New York City Ballet, Martha Graham Dance Company, Dance Theatre of Harlem, and Broadway. Her images include legends such as Baryshnikov, Jerome Robbins, Balanchine, Suzanne Farrell, and Liza Minnelli.

The birthplace of the hit musical Annie, Goodspeed Musicals is holding auditions for local Equity and Non-Equity child actors (GIRLS between ages 10-13) for its upcoming production of the new musical Radio Girl. Auditions will be held on Saturday, April 24th, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Goodspeed's Norma Terris Theatre in Chester, Conn. From this audition a small group of the luckiest girls will make it to the final round in New York City.

Profiles Theatre announces the transfer of its hit production Killer Joe by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tracy Letts to Chicago's Royal George Theatre, 1641 N. Halsted St. After 13 weeks at Profiles, the critically-acclaimed production will move to The Royal George Theatre's Cabaret space for an 8-week run, April 15- June 6, 2010, with a press performance on April 16 at 8:00 p.m.
