Netflix has announced the additional cast of 'Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City,' which stars Laura Linney, Olympia Dukakis, Ellen Page and Barbara Garrick.

Congratulations to The Brother Brothers, whose debut album Some People I Know is out today on Compass Records. The identical twin duo will perform  live at the Paste Studios in New York City at 12:30 p.m. EST this afternoon and celebrate record release in New York City tonight.

Brooklyn-based Americana duo The Brother Brothers have released the second single from their forthcoming debut album, Some People I Know, out October 19 onCompass Records. Relix premiered 'Mary Ann' today, noting the band's 'natural harmonies and evocative lyricism that reflect a timeless sound and spirit.' Today's release follows 'Frankie,' which Billboard praised for its 'soulful folk' and Spotify selected to feature on its tastemaking playlists, Fresh Folk and New Music Today.

Broadway stars Ashley Park and Michael Park will have recurring roles in the the 10-part original limited series, which will debut in 2019.

Artistic Director Antoni Cimolino has announced key casting for the 2019 season, including Michael Blake as Othello and Amelia Sargisson as Desdemona in the season opener, Othello, one of Shakespeare's greatest and best-known tragedies.

Twelfth Night takes place on the mythical, magical island of Illyria, where almost anything can happen in Director Jennifer LeBlanc's fresh and comedic version of this classic. A shipwreck has stranded two survivors here, Sebastian and Viola, brother and sister, although each is unaware of the survival of the other. The sister, Viola, dresses as a man to protect herself in this strange environment, frustrating Duke Orsino who finds himself falling in love. Great comic confusion ensues involving some of Shakespeare's greatest comic characters, including Sir Andrew Aguecheek, Sir Toby Belch, jester-like Feste and the imposing Malvolio. Will true love win out? Will siblings be reunited? Not easily. And therein lies our tale.

Writer-Director Cevin Soling's highly anticipated documentary, The Gilligan Manifesto, is utilizing a crowdfunding campaign (https://igg.me/at/gilligan) to bring the movie to theaters in New York and Los Angeles this coming November.

Festival Ballet Providence School has begun its 2018-2019 academic year and entered a new chapter in its history with Vilia Putrius as its new director. A leading dancer with Festival Ballet Providence for 11 seasons, Putrius was appointed School Director last month, taking over for Mary Ann Mayer who stepped down to pursue another opportunity in dance education.
