Producers Kevin McCollum, Doug Morris and Berry Gordy have just announced additional Broadway casting for the world premiere of MOTOWN: THE MUSICAL, based on the life of iconic Motown founder Berry Gordy.

The Brooklyn Philharmonic announced today that it is returning to the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) as part of a revised Spring season for the first time in three years.

One of stage and screen's brightest young stars shines in his Indianapolis cabaret debut. Leslie's show features songs from his roles on Broadway (Rent, Leap of Faith,) the hit NBC musical drama Smash, along with songs by his idols including Marvin Gaye and Michael Jackson. Armed with a voice that scintillates with subtle power and brilliant clarity, Leslie is worthy of the spotlight.

Chance Theater will present the first show of its 2013 season with a touching west coast premiere musical about dinosaurs and love, TRIASSIC PARQ - The Musical, music by Marshall Pailet, book by Marshall Pailet, Bryce Norbitz and Steve Wargo, choreographed by Kelly Todd, musical direction by Taylor Stephenson and directed by Marshall Pailet, who will be the Chance Theater's 2013 Resident Playwright (and will have two of his other works workshopped in Chance's new play reading series). TRIASSIC PARQ -THE MUSICAL opens tonight, January 30 and Thursday, January 31 and will continue through Sunday, February 24 at Chance Theater, 5552 E. La Palma Ave. in Anaheim Hills.

International songstress Ana Moura announces her fifth studio album and Decca debut, Desfado. She has emerged as one of Portugal's leading voices of traditional Fado (which means "fate") with her mesmerizing interpretations of her country's soulful answer to the blues. To coincide with the release, Moura will embark on a North American tour taking her through major cities such as San Francisco, Seattle, Boston, Washington DC, Minneapolis and more, kicking off February 28th (see dates below).

BroadwayWorld Chicago invited all winners, nominees, past winners and nominees, theater folk, superfans, board members and everyone else to the third annual BroadwayWorld Awards Celebration on January 9, 2013 at The Call nightclub in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
