FPP Continue Season With LEAVE THE PORCHLIGHT ON

Famous People Players Dine and Dream Theatre announces Leave The Porchlight On for 1/2009-4/2009. This show is an inspiring black-light musical based on the true evolution of Famous PEOPLE Players. Troubled youngster Chloe, a wildflower, is sent to perform community service with the troupe. Chloe's relationship with Famous PEOPLE Players, though difficult at times, shows her that hope can survive and flourish in the most unexpected of places. Something as small as the beam from a single porch light can make the difference to a soul, searching for care and guidance.*

Character voices by Eugene Levy, Andrea Martin, Nathan Lane, Martin Short, Catherine O'Hara, Michael Burgess and Catherine McKinnon. Music by the late Doug Riley.

Famous People Players is open all year round from Tuesdays to Saturdays. Our productions are excellent for all ages, from 2 to 102 years old! Famous PEOPLE Players have been on Broadway twice receiving rave reviews and were nominated for a special Tony Award. In addition, they re-opened Radio City Music Hall to musicals; they have a feature episode on the Emmy award-winning TV program, 7th Heaven, and can be seen on Treehouse TV's Roll Play!

The Newman's Own Dining Room is considered one of the most beautiful in all of Toronto - with Fiber Optic lights donated by the Rolling Stones! In fact, our menu has won rave reviews from Food TV's Michael Smith Chef-at-Large, The Financial Post and The Toronto Star.

You will have a gourmet meal prepared and served by the performers themselves, after which you will proceed to the Phil Collins Theatre for a fantastic performance, which we know you will never forget! Following this enchanting experience, you will savour the delicious dessert offerings by Toronto's famous pastry chef, Dufflet's.
