Excitement is building for the world premiere of THE BAND which opens its UK tour at Manchester Opera House next month.

The full cast are now announced for David Pugh & Dafydd Rogers and Take That's UK Tour of Tim Firth's new musical, THE BAND, with the music of Take That.

TheatreSquared (T2) Artistic Director Robert Ford and Executive Director Martin Miller today announced that, on June 23 at 4pm, the company will break ground on the region's first dedicated, permanent home for professional theatre and publicly launch the Our Next Stage Campaign, a $34 million effort to fully fund construction and establish an artistic, operating and education reserve.

The full cast are now announced for David Pugh & Dafydd Rogers and Take That's UK Tour of Tim Firth's new musical, THE BAND, with the music of Take That.  The tour will begin at Manchester Opera House on 8 September, with a national press night on Tuesday 26 September 2017.  The advance box office for the tour has now topped a record-breaking £10million.

TheatreSquared Executive Director Martin Miller and Artistic Director Robert Ford announced today $12.5 million in pacesetting grants from the Walton Family Foundation toward the design and construction of its future permanent home. The total includes a new major grant of nearly $9 million in funding to be released when T2 and the Northwest Arkansas community successfully satisfy a 1:2 fundraising challenge towards the building's construction. Just over $3.5 million was awarded through the foundation's Northwest Arkansas Design Excellence Program to support the building's design - now in final stages, with renderings released at ournextstage.org.

London-based Supersonic Media have announced the signing of Northern Ireland-based outfit Hello Casanova for their debut single 'I'll Be Waiting.'

Earlier tonight, together with 350 community members assembled for the annual Gala for Education, TheatreSquared Executive Director Martin Miller and Artistic Director Robert Ford unveiled the finished designs for the company's future permanent home. London-based theatre planners Charcoalblue joined the presentation along with New York-based Marvel Architects to present the vision for the 50,000 square-foot theatre building. 

The West End is coming to Bridge House Theatre this Christmas with the UK premiere of the festive musical Another Night Before Christmas.

London-based Supersonic Media have announced the signing of Northern Ireland-based outfit Hello Casanova for their debut single 'I'll Be Waiting.'

TheatreSquared's executive director, Martin Miller, announced a $68,500 grant from the Walmart Foundation to help launch its new Lights Up! For Access initiative, extending free and low-cost tickets for 220 performances in Season 11. The company unveiled the program at its annual Season Kickoff event at the home of Denise and Hershey Garner, alongside representatives from the Walmart Foundation, 7Hills Homeless Shelter, Ozark Literacy Council, Lifestyles, Inc., and the Northwest Arkansas Women's Shelter.  

Initial casting has been announced for the Nottingham Playhouse and New Perspectives production of John Harvey's own adaptation of his acclaimed novel Darkness Darkness which receives its premiere this autumn.

TheatreSquared Artistic Director Robert Ford and Executive Director Martin Miller announced today a $250,000 grant from the Building Bridges Program of the Doris Duke Foundation for Islamic Arts (DDFIA). This major, three-year grant will help TheatreSquared reimagine Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet in contemporary Damascus, Syria, through a free adaptation that will be developed in collaboration with Syrian theatre director Kholoud Sawaf. The first phase of the project will be a three-week workshop presented as part of the five-play 2016 Arkansas New Play Festival, with staged reading performances at 7:00pm on June 17 at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville and at 8:00pm on June 23 at TheatreSquared in Fayetteville (Walton Arts Center's Nadine Baum Studios). This reading is the first step towards a fully staged production as part of a future season.

Five plays will be developed over three intensive weeks with playwrights in residence at TheatreSquared, and performed for the public June 18-28, 2015.

The boys are back!  The Full Monty, the critically acclaimed production that took Sheffield by storm, returns to the Lyceum Theatre as part of its UK Tour from Tuesday 5 to Saturday 23 May with a brand new cast including Gary Lucy as Gaz, Andrew Dunn as Gerald and Louis Emerick as Horse.
