FRIDAY 5 (+1): THE MOTHERF*CKER WITH THE HAT Opens Tonight

Shawn Whitsell's Destiny Theatre Experience celebrates its tenth anniversary starting tonight with the opening of Stephen Adly Guirgis' The Motherf**ker With the Hat at Nashville's iconic Darkhorse Theater. Directed by Kurt Jarvis and featuring a cast of local stage favorites, along with some intriguing newcomers, including Michael Carlo, Megan Blevins, Matt N. Smith, Amie Lara and Tony Insignares.

Seamus Dever, Jane Kaczmarek, Marsha Mason and More Set for LATW's 2017-18 Season

On the docket for L.A. Theatre Works in 2017-18: a season of seven audio theater productions, including an original commission of a 19th century novel about Zionism, a new docudrama about the BP oil spill, two recent Pulitzer Prize-winning plays, the revival of a cautionary tale against fascism, a romantic comedy, and a tribute to I Love Lucy - each featuring a star-studded cast. In addition, LATW will honor Woman in Gold attorney E. Randol Schoenberg and launch the company's 14th national tour.

Tony Bennett Headlines His 30th Ravinia Season

On August 3rd TONY BENNETT, the master interpreter of The Great American Songbook, will celebrate his 91st Birthday! On SATURDAY evening, AUGUST 4th, at 8:30 PM, the beloved music icon will once again headline under the RAVINIA stars for his 30th spectacular season. He first performed at the renowned suburban Chicago venue (America's oldest outdoor music festival) in the summer of 1984!

BWW Review: NYC Season Ends with a Bang with Dance Theatre of Harlem

The legendary Dance Theatre of Harlem (DTH) returned to their “stage home” for their annual NYC season at the New York City Center, April 19-22, 2017. Some highlights of the season included a special performance by Grammy-Winning Recording Artist India.Arie, NY and DTH premieres by Robert Garland, Francesca Harper, and José Limón, and the return of other favorites by Dianne McIntyre and Darrell Grand Moultrie.

Mona Golabek to Bring THE CHILDREN OF WILLESDEN LANE to Town Hall

On April 25 at 8pm at The Town Hall (123 West 43rd St.), The Museum of Jewish Heritage and The Town Hall Foundation will present a special performance from American concert pianist Mona Golabek who tells the gripping, true story of her mother, Lisa Jura, who held on to her music and her dreams to survive one of the darkest periods in history.
