New Musicals Inc. has announced that four writing teams have been selected to participate in the 2020 New Voices Project, a musical theatre development program hosted by New Musicals Inc. in Los Angeles (with support from Walt Disney Imagineering Creative Entertainment), now in its eighth year.

The Lakewood Playhouse presents the fourth show of its 77th season, its debut presentation of the American classic DEATH OF A SALESMAN by Arthur Miller, running tomorrow, February 19th, through March 13th, 2016. This production will also mark the continuation of Lakewood's year-long celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Lakewood Playhouse Theatre. From TAMING OF THE SHREW in its first year to AVENUE Q at the end of this season, Lakewood will have presented more than 300 productions at this venue, built in 1965 by the Lakewood Arts Foundation. Young at Arts, a nonprofit organization that provides an outstanding music and theater education to a diverse group of young people from Southern Westchester County and The Bronx, presents an operatic twin bill of Susan Kander's ONE FALSE MOVE and Gian Carlo Menotti's MARTIN'S LIE today, March 14, 7:30 p.m. at Christ Church Bronxville (17 Sagamore Road).

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (ASO), in partnership with Georgia Public Broadcasting and the producers of the documentary film, Robert Shaw: Man of Many Voices, will host "Stars Shine on Shaw" - a musical tribute celebrating the life and legacy of former ASO Music Director Robert Shaw - on Sunday, November 10, 2013, at 3:00 p.m. in Atlanta Symphony Hall at the Woodruff Arts Center.

Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College welcomes legendary composer/performer and 2008 Theater Hall of Fame inductee Marvin Hamlisch for an elegant evening of unforgettable music on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 8pm. Mr. Hamlisch holds the distinction of being one of only twelve people to win all four major US performing awards (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony) and one of only two to have won all four of those plus a Pulitzer Prize (the other being Richard Rogers).
