Following his current run in the West End production, Marti Pellow will join the UK tour of Willy Russell's smash hit musical Blood Brothers for five weeks only.

MARTI PELLOW, one of Britain's great music icons, is to make his hugely anticipated return to the London stage, joining Willy Russell's smash hit musical, one of the longest running in history. From TUESDAY 1 NOVEMBER 2011, Marti will join the West End cast of BLOOD BROTHERS as The Narrator at the Phoenix Theatre, for a limited season.

International singing sensation Marti Pellow will return to star as ‘Billy Flynn' in the UK National tour of the smash-hit musical 'CHICAGO' for six weeks only from Monday 18 January until Saturday 26 February 2010. Marti first played the role to great acclaim in the West End, subsequently repeating his performance in New York and on the UK national tour, playing to sell-out houses. Emma Barton, currently starring in the show on tour as ‘Roxie Hart', will continue to play the role opposite Marti Pellow.

From Monday 3 May, the touring production of 'CALENDAR GIRLS' will star Elizabeth Bennett (‘Joyce Jowett' in 'Heartbeat' and was in the film of 'Calendar Girls') as ‘Marie', Anne Charleston (‘Madge' from 'Neighbours') as ‘Jessie - Miss January', Gemma Craven (‘Cinderella' in the film 'The Slipper and the Rose' and 'They're Playing Our Song' opposite Tom Conti in the West End) as ‘Chris - Miss October'

Whatsonstage.com reports that Arlene Phillips, most famous for her choreography and directing work on shows such as SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER an STARLIGHT EXPRESS and for her recent stint on 'Strickly Come Dancing,' is directing and choreographing a new dance spectacle, SACRED FLAME, that will premiere at the O2 Arena on December 28th. The show will star Marti Pellow.

Today sees the release of Only You Can Save Mankind, a studio concept album recorded by major West End stars, of a sci-fi stage musical based on the international best-selling book by Terry Pratchett.

Internationally renowned musical theatre producer/director Hugh Wooldridge will lead a master class on musical theatre for Tennessee Repertory Theatre on Monday, November 30, from 6 to 9 p.m. Most recently, Wooldridge adapted and directed the Tim Rice/ABBA musical, Chess in Concert, at London's Royal Albert Hall, with a cast that included Josh Groban, Idina Menzel, Adam Pascal and Marti Pellow.

Hannah Waterman, star of EastEnders and winner with Marti Pellow of BBC's Just The Two Of Us, will star as Miss July in CALENDAR GIRLS at the Noël Coward Theatre in the West End from Tuesday 1 December.
