Producer Jack Thomas of Bulldog Theatrical will present Mary Adkins' new play The 49 Project as part of the 13th annual New York International Fringe Festival August 14-30. The six performances will be held at the Cherry Lane Studio Theatre (38 Commerce Street) on: Tuesday, Aug. 25, 8:45 PM, Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2 PM, Thursday, Aug. 27, 3:00 PM & 7:00 PM, Friday, Aug. 28, 9:15 PM and Saturday, Aug. 29, 5:30 PM.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) presents the first new Broadway production of Bye Bye Birdie, after a 48 year absence, as the inaugural production of the new Henry Miller's Theatre (124 West 43rd Street) beginning Thursday, September 10th, 2009 with an official opening on Thursday, October 15th, 2009. Broadway's Pierce Cravens (Ragtime, Titanic) and Marshall Pailet (Adventures of Tom Sawyer, A Christmas Carol) will star in Geek Ink's production of Thucydides as part of this year's Samuel French Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival. The one-act play is written by Drew Fornarola and Scott Elmegreen (COLLEGE The Musical) and directed by Dev Bondarin (Raised by Lesbians).
