Photo Flash: Woody Harrelson Visits TRIASSIC PARQ The Musical

Film star Woody Harrelson attended TRIASSIC PARQ The Musical this past Sunday, June 17th. Check out a photo of him with the cast and creative team below!

2010’s Best Musical winner at FringeNYC is now in previews for a limited Off-Broadway engagement through August 5th at the SoHo Playhouse. Opening night is Wednesday, June 27th. Written by Marshall Pailet, Bryce Norbitz and Steve Wargo, TRIASSIC PARQ is directed by Mr. Pailet, with choreography by Kyle Mullins and musical direction by Zak Sandler. The cast of TRIASSIC PARQ features Lindsay Nicole Chambers (Hairspray, Lysistrata Jones), Brandon Espinoza (Les Miserables, Captains Courageous), Wade McCollum (Submissions Only), Claire Neumann (Boston Marriage), Lee Seymour (title role in Hamlet, Shakespeare’s Globe), Shelley Thomas (Zanna, Don’t!) and ALex Wyse (HBO’s Bored to Death).

Raucous and hilarious, TRIASSIC PARQ The Musical vividly brings together music, sex and singing dinosaurs in ways hitherto unimagined. Chaos is unleashed upon the not-so-prehistoric world when one dinosaur in a clan of females spontaneously turns male. The mutation spawns a chain reaction of identity crises, forcing the dinosaurs to question the very facts of life they've held as truth. TRIASSIC PARQ is an unflinching musical meditation on science, faith and love. Like all great tales laden with import, it is narrated by Morgan Freeman.

Woody Harrelson’snumerousfilm & TV credits include Cheers, No Country for Old Men, Zombieland, The Thin Red Line, The Hunger Games, Game Change, Seven Pounds, The People vs. Larry Flynt, North Country, The Messenger, Natural Born Killers, Wag the Dog, A Scanner Darkly and White Men Can’t Jump. Harrelson also appeared on Broadway in The Rainmaker and Biloxi Blues, and he’s the director and co-writer of Bullet for Adolf, a dark comedy opening next month at New World Stages.

TRIASSIC PARQ The Musical runs 85 minutes with no intermission and is produced Off-Broadway by Amas Musical Theatre in association with Flying Squirrel Theatricals, RD Productions, Bulldog Theatrical, P2 Creations, and The Weekly World News. The playing schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings at 8 PM; Saturdays at 4 & 8 PM; and Sundays at 4 PM at the Soho Playhouse, 15 Vandam Street (between Sixth Ave. & Varick St.) Tickets are $39.50 - $59.50 and are available by calling 212-352-3101 or through www.TriassicParq.com.
