Penguin Rep Theatre closes its 33rd season with the New York premiere of MRS. MANNERLY, a comedy by Jeffrey Hatcher, October 1 through October 24 in Stony Point, New York. Directed by Penguin Rep artistic director Joe Brancato, MRS. MANNERLY stars Diane Ciesla and Mark Shanahan.

This Pulitzer Prize winning play will be presented one night only, Monday September 13th, 2010 at 7 PM atThe Neighborhood Playhouse Theatre.

Donald Margulies's Pulitzer Prize-winning Dinner With Friends at Olney Theatre Center has been extended to Sunday, October 3. The Washington Post calls the Olney production an 'exacting, unsettling drama.' The Frederick News-Post declares, 'Dinner With Friends shines on Olney Theatre Center's black box stage.'

The Shakespeare Theatre Company is currently casting for the first play of the 2010 - 2011 Season: All's Well That Ends Well. Most roles have been filled and an Academy Award Nominee joins the ranks. Marsha Mason makes her STC debut to star as the Countess of Rosillion.

In September, DC area theatres are filled with almost a dozen musical productions opening -- classics, family shows, and many wonderful plays being performed on our over 200 theatre venues. The humidity is finally melting away, and it's a perfect time to welcome the cooler weather and the colors of the Fall by making a trip to the Nation's Capital and catching a show or two or three. California International Theatre Festival 2010 season is presented by the City of Calabasas with Linda Purl as Festival Director, M.
