?Cape May Stage (CMS), Cape May's premiere professional not-for-profit Equity theatre, has announced its exciting 2015 Season.

This week the spotlight falls on two actors who are sharing the stage in the Nashville premiere of 2012 First Night Honoree Chambers Stevens' Twain and Shaw Do Lunch, directed by veteran director Melissa Carelli: Brian Hill and Michael Roark, arguably two of Music City's finest actors, onstage together playing literary lions Mark Twain and George Bernard Shaw, respectively.

The Houston Symphony's January calendar starts the New Year with an impressive lineup of concerts including an intimate concert experience with commentary from Andres Orozco-Estrada. "Musically Speaking with Andres" begins with Shostakovich's Symphony No. 12, The Year 1917. On January 17-18, twin sisters Christina and Michelle Naughton will perform a masterful two-piano musical dialogue in Mozart and Shostakovich.

Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC) presents The Diaries of Adam and Eve, a compelling exploration of the relationship between men and women as told through the lens of the world's first love story. The light-hearted dramatic comedy play by David Birney is an adaptation of the book by America's great humorist, Mark Twain. FPAC's production is directed by Nick Paone and stars Franklin's Charley and Mireille Eastman in the title roles.

In a delightful production helmed by veteran director Melissa Carelli, and starring a trio of very capable Nashville actors, Twain and Shaw Do Lunch treats audiences to an imagined afternoon affair in which the two literary lions-Mark Twain and George Bernard Shaw at the top of their parlor game-swap stories, trade quips and exchange bons mots.

Caroline Davis, taking on the role of Charlotte Shaw, has performed with various local theatre groups-ACT 1, Blackbird, Carrick, Circle, Groundworks, Rhubarb-"on occasion as an ice skater, a geisha, a monkey, a dog, a Marx Brother, a shepherdess (twice) and a dead person (thrice)."

The West Coast Premiere of Chris Brubeck and Guillaume Saint-James' jazz-orchestral work Brothers in Arts will highlight the 2014-2015 season opening of the Oakland East Bay Symphony tonight, November 7 conducted by Music Director Michael Morgan, who celebrates his 25th year with the Symphony. Brothers in Arts and Tchaikovsky's Fifth Symphony will be performed in one concert only, tonight November 7, at 8 pm at the Paramount Theatre in Oakland. The Music Hall's Writers in the Loft series welcomes Kathryn Harrison, the New York Times bestselling author and celebrated essayist for The New Yorker, Harper's Magazine, and O Magazine, on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. Harrison will discuss JOAN OF ARC: A Life Transfigured, her expertly woven account of a young peasant girl who became a heroine of profound historical and almost mythical stature.
