Wyoming Theater Festival 2019 Season Announced

Plans are underway for Wyoming Theater Festival (WyoTF) to return for a 2019 summer season - and beyond - continuing its commitment to "New Plays in the New West," artistic director DannyLee Hodnett announced. Building on a tradition that began in 2015, the 2019 Wyoming Theater Festival will take place Aug. 8-18, 2019 in Sheridan, WY. Artists, titles and venues will be announced at a later date.

A Classic Broadway Mother's Day, special Mother's Day performance of the ongoing concert series An Evening of Classic Broadway, now in its 5th year, takes place on Sunday, May 13th at Rockwell Table and Stage in Los Angeles. Doors open at 4:30 for the 6PM show. Music Director/Master of Ceremonies Brad Ellis and Presenter Fraser Entertainment Group showcase a new cast with each performance, this one consisting of parents and their offspring.

Skora Productions in association with the Whitefire Theatre opened its world premiere comedy DAMAGED FURNITURE written by Howard Skora, directed by Jim Fall on Saturday, March 24, 2018. The play runs Saturday evenings at 8:00 pm, now through May 26, at the Whitefire Theatre in Sherman Oaks.

The community panels and discussions have been announced for this radical re-envisioning of Streetcar which will feature a multicultural cast and modern setting, pushing on the play's present-day relevance. This selection of panel discussions and post-show Illuminations will allow for a deep discussion on A Streetcar Named Desire and its many prevalent themes, especially in regards to this production, which is presented within a contemporary and urban environment, highlighting the pertinence of the play for our divided America.
