Today, Tuesday, Nov. 3, Columbia Records and Twentieth Century Fox Television releases 'Glee: The Music, Volume 1,' the first in a series of soundtracks that feature some of the music heard in the first season of the critically acclaimed series on FOX. 'Glee: The Music, Volume 1' features spectacular renditions of several chart-topping hits, including Queen's 'Somebody to Love' and Neil Diamond's 'Sweet Caroline.'

This week's issue of Entertainment Weekly confirms the news that Tony-winner Kristin Chenoweth, who made a guest appearance on the fourth episode of the FOX series GLEE, in which she played April Rhodes, a boozy former classmate of Will's (Matthew Morrison), who has an eye for really young men, will return to the show during the show's final nine episodes of the season.
Josh Groban has revealed to Access Hollywood that he'll be returning to GLEE to do one more episode. 'I had a great time with that cast, coming from a theater background,' he said. 'It's so nice to see so many theater actors being hired for mainstream television. And also, being a member of the choir club as a kid, just to see that group of people being represented in mainstream culture is really, really so great.'
Billboard is reporting this morning that while plans are already underway for the GLEE cast to do a concert tour of the country in the summer of 2010, that also part of Columbia Records deal with FOX is that the label has options to sign the cast members to solo deals, though they aren't immediately rushing to do this.
