Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS presented renowned actor Corin Redgrave in Tynan, based on the diaries of the influential and often controversial English theatre critic and writer Kenneth Tynan, for one performance only on Monday, October 22 at The Public Theater (425 Lafayette Street at Astor Place). The performance benefited Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS and The Actors' Fund.

The evening was directed by Scott Coulter with musical direction by Alex Rybeck.

Naked Boys Singing!, the fifteen-song celebration of the male form, now its ninth year Off-Broadway at New World Stages Stage 4, celebrated the World Premiere of the film version, opening Friday, October 12, at the Quad Cinemas in New York. A film-release party was held that evening at the Splash Bar (50 West 17th).
