Disney Theatrical Productions and Broadway in Portland announced today that tickets for the long-awaited return engagement of Disney’s The Lion King will go on sale to the public on Monday, October 2 at 10 a.m.

 Disney Theatrical Productions and The American Theatre Guild announced that tickets for the long-awaited production of Disney’s The Lion King will go on sale to the public on Friday, June 23 at 10 a.m.

Tony winner Thomas Kail will direct the upcoming feature, reuniting him with his Hamilton collaborator Lin-Manuel Miranda, who wrote the music for the new film. Original stars Dwayne 'the Rock' Johnson and Auli'i Cravalho will executive produce the film, with Johnson also returning to his role of Maui.
