ESPN today announced an all-star roster of NBA game commentators for the 2016-17 season.

Revered Turner Sports sideline reporter Craig Sager will join ESPN's NBA Finals broadcast team for Game 6 – Golden State Warriors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers – Thursday, June 16, at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.

The 2016 NBA FINALS - the defending NBA Champion Golden State Warriors and Stephen Curry vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James - tip off today, June 2, at 9 p.m. ET exclusively on ABC. Weeknight NBA FINALS broadcasts will begin at 9 p.m. ET, while Sunday broadcasts will start at 8 p.m. Every game will be preceded by a 30-minute, on-site edition of the NBA COUNTDOWN pre-game show on ABC. The NBA FINALS will be available on ABC, ESPN Deportes, ESPN Radio and via WatchESPN. (The full game and telecast schedule is in the table below). This is the 14th NBA FINALS on ABC, dating back to 2003.

ESPN announced today it has re-signed its lead NBA play-by-play commentator Mike Breen, the voice of the NBA Finals, to a long-term deal.

The 2016 NBA Playoffs will continue on ESPN with three Game 6s on Friday, April 29. Starting at 7:30 p.m. ET, the Toronto Raptors (leading 3-2) and DeMar DeRozan will visit the Indiana Pacers and Paul George.

Berkeley's Aurora Theatre Company announces the company's new works initiative to promote the creation of forward-looking theater, Originate + Generate. After a successful 10-year run, the Global Age Project festival of new works has evolved and shifted focus from discovery to development, including commissions, workshops, readings, and full productions of new plays. Every year, theater artists will be selected and given the opportunity to create new work via processes of their own devising. They will receive the financial support, resources, and physical space to create works specifically for Aurora's stages. Special consideration will be given to local theater artists. Aurora Theatre Company is pleased to announce that the first O+G two artists are Jonathan Spector with The State of Nature and Beth Wilmurt with Cabaret Olga. During the creation process, audiences will be invited to attend various workshops and presentations as the works are being created as well as a series of pop-up readings by other theater makers.
