WAR HORSE to Offer Relaxed Performance, 20 September

On Saturday 20 September 2014 at 2pm the National Theatre's internationally acclaimed award-winning stage production of Michael Morpurgo's War Horse will hold a relaxed performance at the New London Theatre in association with The National Autistic Society (NAS), the UK's leading charity for people with autism and their families.

The National Theatre's internationally acclaimed stage production of War Horse recently extended booking at the New London Theatre to 14 February 2015.Now celebrating its seventh year on the London stage, Nick Stafford's adaptation of Michael Morpurgo's book continues to play to sell-out houses in the West End. War Horse, which has now been seen by over 5 million people worldwide, was broadcast live for the first time in February this year part of National Theatre Live.

Monday 27 January 2014 the National Theatre's internationally acclaimed award-winning stage production of War Horse will release 130,000 new tickets for sale for the West End production taking booking at the New London Theatre to 14 February 2015.

Joey, star of the National Theatre's production War Horse, trotted onto the Coronation Street cobbles during his recent trip to the city to celebrate Manchester Tourism Awards. The National Theatre's internationally acclaimed stage production of War Horse received its world premiere at the National Theatre in October 2007, and has now been seen by over 4 million people worldwide. Now celebrating its sixth year on the London stage and recently extending booking until October 2014, Nick Stafford's adaptation of Michael Morpurgo's book continues to play to sell-out houses at the New London Theatre in the West End. Having won multiple awards internationally, War Horse is directed by Marianne Elliott and Tom Morris and designed by Rae Smith, with puppet direction, design and fabrication by Basil Jones and Adrian Kohler for Handspring Puppet Company, lighting by Paule Constable, and movement and horse choreography by Toby Sedgwick, with video design by Leo Warner and Mark Grimmer, songmaker John Tams, music by Adrian Sutton and sound by Christopher Shutt. ACT Announces Extension for BLACK WATCH

American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) Artistic Director Carey Perloff announced today that their highly anticipated production of the National Theatre of Scotland's internationally acclaimed production of Black Watch has extended its run at The Drill Court at the Armory Community Center (333 14th Street, between Mission and Valencia) through Sunday, June 16. The production was originally scheduled to run through Sunday, June 9. Tickets for all performances are on sale now and may be purchased online at act-sf.org or by calling 415.749.2228.

Led by Captain Nicholls (Alex Avery), Joey reared in salute to the crowd at Park Live, which included Zara Phillips who along with her team later won silver in the equestrian events in Greenwich.
