Emerging Artists Theatre celebrates its 25th Anniversary by presenting their 20th Annual New Work Series (NWS). Under the direction of Artistic Director, Paul Adam's, the festival runs February 26 through March 18 at TADA Theatre in Chelsea.

Doric Wilson's award-winning satire, STREET THEATER about the evening of the Stonewall riots, returns to the Eagle Bar for a limited run September 20 - October 4. The production is produced by TOSOS (The Other Side of Silence), New York City's Oldest LGBTQ Theatre and is the first play of their 2017-18 Season. TOSOS Artistic Director, Mark Finley directs. The production won the New York Innovative Theater Award in 2016 for Outstanding Revival.

Award-winning TOSOS, New York City's oldest professional LGBTQ theater, returns with the second full length production of their 2016-17 season with Virginia Baeta's Damaged Goods. The production is directed by Mark Finley (Penny Penniworth/Off-Broadway), and reunites the cast of the 2010 hit FringeNYC/Fringe Encore Series, The Secretaries written by The Five Lesbian Brothers. On Monday, September 26, 2016, The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization who for the past 12 years has been dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2016 recipients at its annual awards ceremony, The IT Awards. Hosted by a crowd favorite, Jason Kravits and directed by award winning director and sound designer, DeLisa White the ceremony took place from 7pm to 10pm at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College.

Nominations include Outstanding Revival of a Play, and Outstanding Ensemble for Doric Wilson's Street Theater for its run at The Eagle NY. Kathleen Warnock's play The Further Adventures of… was nominated for Outstanding Short Script and Outstanding Ensemble. The Further Adventures of… opens this Friday, August 12, at the 20th Annual New York International Fringe Festival. The New York Innovative Theatre Awards will be awarded this fall in New York City.

Wilson's play, originally produced at The Spike, was written three years before the Ramrod leather bar massacre in November 1980, in which a man armed with a machine gun shot eight people, killing two. It is a dark, comic look at the bar's patrons and their attempts to defend it from both physical attacks as well as political attempts to close it.
TOSOS (The Other Side of Silence) is proud to present Kathleen Warnock's The Further Adventures of… as part of the 20th annual New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC). Playwright Kathleen Warnock's work has been produced in New York, London, Ireland and regionally. Recent productions include Julie Andrews is the Devil at the International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival and Strivers in Astoria Stories at Astoria Performing Arts Center. Eric Chase, who directed last year's hit FringeNYC production of Possum Creek, directs. TOSOS's previous FringeNYC credits include the sold-out runs of And Sophie Comes Too in 2009 and The Secretaries in 2010.
The comedic duo Andrea Alton and Allen Warnock return to the 20th Annual New York International Fringe Festival with their new comedy A Microwaved Burrito Filled With E. coli. Written by Alton and Warnock who previously worked together on the critically acclaimed 2008 FringeNYC production of Carl & Shelly: Best Friends Forever which went on to a commercial run in 2010. In addition, they've performed together at the Chicago, DC, Provincetown, MA, and Toronto Sketch Comedy & Theatre Festivals, HOT! Festival at Dixon Place, as well as numerous shows at The People's Improv Theater (The PIT) and Upright Citizen's Brigade (UCB) in New York City.
