Geva to Stage Key Bank's A CHRISTMAS CAROL

?On November 25, a beloved Rochester tradition returns to Geva Theatre Center on the Wilson Stage. The Key Bank Production of A Christmas Carol, Dickens' classic tale of redemption for the most despised man in London, will awaken your heart and rekindle your spirit this holiday season.  This production of A Christmas Carol premiered to great acclaim in 2010 and features a script adapted by Mark Cuddy from Charles Dickens' novella with music and lyrics by Gregg Coffin, composer of Geva favorites, Five Course Love and Convenience. 

The Second City Comes to The Cape Playhouse This Week

Today, September 15, Chicago's legendary sketch and improv comedy theater takes over the Cape Playhouse with 'The Second City: Fully Loaded.' Geva Executive Director Joins Trinity Rep

Geva Theatre Center's Board of Trustees announced today that Executive Director Tom Parrish will be leaving his position to become the new Executive Director of Trinity Repertory Company, the Tony Award-winning State Theater of Rhode Island.

Actors Coming Together to Stage New Works at Hershey Area Playhouse

Geva Theatre Center's 2015 Fielding Studio Series concludes with the world premiere of The Road to Where by Cass Morgan, directed by Mark Cuddy. The production begins performances tonight, April 23 and runs in the Fielding Nextstage through May 10.

Geva to Hold Auditions for 2015-2016 Season

?Geva Theatre Center will be holding Equity and non-Equity dramatic and musical auditions for its 2015-2016 season, for both actors and singers 18 years of age or older on Sunday, April 26, from 11am-2pm, and 3pm-7pm.

Over 30 Additional Artistic Directors Sign Open Letter in Support of Ari Roth

In a continued outpouring of solidarity among a giant consortium of the American theater's artistic directors, more than 30 additional artistic directors have signed the open letter that was issued yesterday in support of Ari Roth, following his recent dismissal from the Jewish Community Center in Washington, D.C., where he has served as Artistic Director of Theater J for the past 18 years.

Geva Theatre Center Announces Philip Seymour Hoffman Scholarship Fund

?On February 5, Geva Theatre Center joined with the Broadway theatre community to dim its lights in honor of the life and work of Rochester's native son, Philip Seymour Hoffman. This is one of the more touching traditions of the theatrical profession, and the ultimate acknowledgement that a person has earned a place in theatre history.
