On Monday, November 8, 2010, Behind the Scenes: Careers On and Off Broadway, a free panel discussion highlighting backstage careers in theatre, will take place at the Apollo Theater, presented by the Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting, the Apollo Theater Education Program, and the Broadway League.

Crossroads Theatre Company announced their 2009-2010 season today. The New Jersey-based organization will see three world premieres, a musical celebration, the CommonGround: Festival of the People, and the Genesis Festival of New and Emerging Voices.

Crowns is back in town, and with direction and choreography by Kenneth Lee Roberson (Broadway's Avenue Q, Arena's Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill) and musical direction by Grammy nominee e'Marcus Harper, this soulful musical will be bigger than ever in the Lincoln Theatre. Arena favorites Marva Hicks (The Women of Brewster Place) and E. Faye Butler (Dinah Was, Ain't Misbehavin') are joined by NaTasha Yvette Williams (Broadway's The Color Purple), Mary Millben, Kara Tameika Watkins, Phillip Boykin and Zurin Villanueva. Howard University student Villanueva was discovered in Arena's January 'Finding Yolanda' one-day casting search, and this production marks her debut professional performance.

Audiences have just a few more weeks to catch Three Mo' Tenors at The Little Shubert Theater before the show ends its scheduled limited engagement on January 27. The show will resume its US tour in 2008.

To help kick off the holiday season, Three Mo' Tenors, currently thrilling New York audiences in a limited Off-Broadway engagement through January 27 at the Little Shubert Theatre, will perform 'Joy to the World,' 'Deck the Halls' and a Christmas Medley. Airing nationally, 'Good Morning America' broadcasts on WABC - Ch. 7 from 8-9AM AM in New York.
