A man trapped in his daily routine is introduced to the power of lucid dreaming in the drama film, Zen Dog, available on special edition Blu-ray, VOD, and all digital platforms on June 22 from Future Park. This colorful story stars Kyle Gallner (Veronica Mars, AMERICAN SNIPER) and Adam Herschman (ACCEPTED). The Zen Dog Blu-ray includes exciting bonus content that take viewers on a journey behind-the-scenes and inside the making of the film. This content will be exclusive to the special edition Blu-ray, and not included in the VOD release.

The Riant Theatre's Strawberry One-Act Festival presented its AWARDS CEREMONY & PERFORMANCE on Sunday, May 27th at 5pm at Theatre 54 @ Shetler Studios in Manhattan. The INDUSTRY JUDGES, included: Margaret Emory, Agent from SW Artists, Ellyn Long-Marshall, Casting Director from the Orpheus Group Casting, Count Stovall, Actor (Broadway, CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF) and Michael McDavid, Theatre Producer and Educator (The McCarter Theatre Center). STEVE by Ian Eaton took home the BEST PLAY AWARD and a grant for $1,500 and a development deal to have a full-length play produced by the Riant Theatre.

This evening, the GALA ARTISANS QUEBEC CINEMA kicked off the annual grand celebration of our films. A total of 14 Iris awards were presented in recognition of the immense talent of the creative people who make Quebec's movies. The Gala, hosted by the always-lively Pier-Luc Funk and Leane Labreche-Dor, was broadcast live from Studio 42 at Maison de Radio-Canada on ICI ARTV.

The Jeff-recommended World Premiere production of FLIES! THE MUSICAL has been extended for one additional weekend, due to popular demand. Originally scheduled to close on June 10, the new musical by bookwriter/lyricist Larry Todd Cousineau and composer Cindy O'Connor will play three additional performances - on Thursday June 14 and Friday, June 15 - and closing Saturday, June 16, all with curtain times of 7:30 pm. The Thursday, June 14 performance is pay-what-you-can for theatre industry members and returning audiences. The musical is performed in The Broadway, Pride Arts Center, 4139 N. Broadway.

The 6th Edition of In Scena! Italian Theater Festival NY presented by Kairos Italy Theater and KIT Italia, had its most successful Festival to date showcasing a record 12 shows, brought over from Italy to NYC. The 15-day, 5-borough Festival, founded by KIT Artistic Director Laura Caparrotti and KIT Italia Artistic Director Donatella Codonesu, boasted many sold out shows and events. This year's Fest celebrated women with 7 female authors represented as well as 6 female directors
