Nicholas L. Ashe, Jeremy Bobb, Natalie Gold, Marin Ireland, and Samuel H. Levine will be featured in the LCT3/Lincoln Center Theater world premiere of KILL FLOOR, by Abe Koogler, directed by Lila Neugebauer. KILL FLOOR will begin performances Saturday, October 3, open Monday, October 19, and run for six weeks only through Sunday, November 15 at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street).
This past week The Public Theater celerbrated their 2015 Summer Gala, which included a special performance of the free Shakespeare in the Park production of THE TEMPEST, featuring a cast that included Sam Waterston and Jesse Tyler Ferguson and directed by Michael Greif. The summer gala also honored Bernard Spitzer (1924-2014) and Anna Spitzer for their extraordinary support over several years. The 2015 Public Theater summer gala featured appearances by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jonathan Groff, Laura Benanti, Sandra Oh, Peter Dinklage, Alan Rickman, Jane Lynch and many more.

MCC Theater's Permission, the new comedy from Hand to God playwright Robert Askins recently extended by a week through June 14th. Permission celebrates its Opening Night tonight, May 20th, at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street). Permission stars Justin Bartha, of Broadway's Lend Me A Tenor, Off-Broadway's All New People and the blockbuster film The Hangover; Twilight Saga and 'Grey's Anatomy' Emmy-nominated star Elizabeth Reaser, returning to MCC following her critically acclaimed performance in this fall's The Money Shot; and theater regulars Nicole Lowrance, Talene Monahon, and Lucas Near-Verbrugghe.

The New Group has announced that Marin Ireland and Amanda Seyfried will join original cast members from the company's critically-acclaimed 2005 hit revival of Hurlyburly: Bobby Cannavale, Josh Hamilton, Ethan Hawke, Parker Posey and Wallace Shawn, in the previously announced one-night-only benefit reading of David Rabe's award-winning play. Directed by Scott Elliott, this benefit reading within The New Group's current 20th Anniversary Season takes place Sunday, April 26 at The New Group at The Pershing Square Signature Center (The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre, 480 West 42nd Street).

The new independent film TAKE CARE stars Leslie Bibb and Thomas Sadoski. Since 1998, Sadoski has been one of the most reliable performers in the New York theatre community, being seen in world premieres by Lucy Thurber, Rajiv Joseph, Neil LaBute, and and Jon Robin Baitz, amongst many others. He earned a Tony-nom for REASONS TO BE PRETTY, and Obie and Lucille Lortel Awards for the original Off-Broadway production of OTHER DESERT CITIES.
