American Composers Orchestra to Return to Carnegie Hall with SANCTUARY

​​​​​​​Wexford Festival Opera is celebrating its 70th anniversary with its debut New York concert on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 7:30pm at Merkin Hall at Kaufman Music Center, featuring renowned soprano Angela Meade, together with pianist Myra Huang, in works by Wagner, Meyerbeer, Amy Beach, and others.

Two New York Premieres By Composer Anna Clyne to Be Presented In March 2022

On Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 7:30pm, the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center presents the Calidore String Quartet in the New York premiere of GRAMMY Award-nominated composer Anna Clyne's Breathing Statues, a CMS co-commission, at the Rose Studio. The concert, part of the new-music series New Milestones, also includes Sofia Gubaidulina's Quartet No. 4 for Strings with Tape, Joan Tower's White Water, and Jörg Widmann's Jagdquartett.

Sarasota Concert Association Presents Benjamin Beilman And Alessio Bax, February 25

The Sarasota Concert Association continues its Great Performers Series on Friday, February 25, 2022 with violinist Benjamin Beilman and pianist Alessio Bax performing a recital at 7:30 pm at Riverview Performing Arts Center.  The program includes Ferruccio Busoni's Violin Sonata No. 2 and César Franck's popular Sonata in A major for Violin and Piano.   

Colorado Music Festival Announces 2022 Season

The Colorado Music Festival in Boulder, Colorado, under the leadership of Music Director Peter Oundjian, returns to Chautauqua Auditorium in Boulder this summer for 22 concerts between June 30 and August 7. 

The Orlando Philharmonic to Present Beethoven's Symphony No. 4

The Orlando Philharmonic will present Beethoven’s Symphony No. 4 as a continuation of the Focus Series at The Plaza Live on January 24 at 7:00 p.m. Chloé van Soeterstéde will take the podium and direct the orchestra featuring Principal Trumpet Michael Fee. 

Stephen Schwartz, Paulo Szot & More to Take Part in MASS AT 50 Panel

The Leonard Bernstein Office and Indiana University (IU) Jacobs School of Music will co-present MASS at 50, a livestream panel discussion, on January 10, 2022 at 3pm EST. Registration is free and open to the public through the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music website.

Experiential Orchestra And Chorus Present An Ethel Smyth Grammy Award Celebration Concert In NYC

Experiential Orchestra and Chorus, led by Music Director James Blachly, will celebrate its 2021 Grammy win as well as being named a finalist for a 2021 Gramophone Classical Music Award for their recording of Dame Ethel Smyth's The Prison (Chandos Records) with a concert on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 8pm at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music (450 W. 37th St., NYC).
