Toronto LGBT Film Festival, Inside Out, Announces Lineup

The 29th annual Inside Out Toronto LGBT Film Festival (Inside Out), championing innovative LGBTQ filmmakers from across the globe, revealed its full feature and short film lineup. The announcement was made today by Inside Out's Executive Director Andria Wilson and the festival's Director of Programming Andrew Murphy. Inside Out, which launched the first ever annual LGBTQ Film Finance Forum, has established itself as an international home and incubator for LGBTQ emerging and established filmmakers. This year's festival will take place May 23 to June 2, 2019.
JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort Presents World Premiere Of AMERICAN JUKEBOX

A Paradise Production, which brought their show Broadway on the Beach to the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort last December, is thrilled to announce their return with the new concert American Jukebox. The show will premiere at the resort's stunning 17,000 square foot Banyan Ballroom. This limited run takes place November 21st-24th and celebrates contemporary American classics like 'Natural Woman,' 'Fire and Rain,' 'Great Balls of Fire,' and more. The original cast from Broadway on the Beach returns, which includes Billy Elliot's Patrick Mulvey, Chicago's Rachel Meinhart, and First Date the Musical's Conner Meinhart. Million Dollar Quartet's Colte Julian will also be back on piano along with Jeremy Gentry (NBC's The Voice) on drums. Joining the American Jukebox team and rounding out the band will be Michael McCracken (The Winchesters, Chicago Med) on bass and Nicholas Davio (Million Dollar Quartet) on guitar.

This Holiday Season, journey to North Carolina circa 1916 as a young man rises to fulfill his destiny to be 'somebody' . Based on Thomas Wolfe's autobiographical novel of the same name, Look Homeward, Angel examines the life of a young man growing up in a small town in the mountains of North Carolina during the early part of the 20th century. Brimming with fascinating and colorful characters, the play is funny, engaging, and ultimately poignant as our hero, Eugene, finds his way through love and loss.

It will add performances on August 13,14, 15, 19, 26, 27, & 28. Thursdays -Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 7 p.m. Tickets are $18 on Thursday and Sunday, $20 on Friday, and $22 on Saturday. All shows are selling out so it is advised to reserve and pay on Ticketweb. All tickets are released at 10 minutes to showtime.
