As previously reported, on November 2nd, The Academy of Magical Arts lauched a week long celebration of Magic for the 100th anniversary of the structure known today as The Magic Castle, culminating in a show at the Kodak Theatre, IT's MAGIC!, on Nov 8th.

The never 'BOOOORRRIIINNNGGGG,' JoAnne Worley opened her one-woman show entitled 'KEEP LAUGHIN!' on Sunday Oct 4th at the Cabaret at the Castle to an audience that was clearly there to bask in the brilliant light that is Miss Worley's Star.
In a special ceremony today, Disney Theatrical Productions donated objects from the Tony and Olivier Award-winning musical 'The Lion King' to the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History. Costume elements from the show's protagonist Simba and the tribal shaman Rafiki will join objects from the musicals 'Cats,' 'Rent' and the 'King and I' in the museum's permanent entertainment collections.
