Brooklyn-based performer, Raquel Cion, is poised for her March 2020 performances of her alt-cabaret, Me & Mr. Jones: My Intimate Relationship with David Bowie at Pangea, located at 178 Second Avenue New York, NY 10003. The 90-minute cabaret explores the lifelong 'soul love' that Cion has for David Bowie's artistry and David Jones's humanity.

On March 20 and 21, vocalists James Jackson, Jr. (A Strange Loop at Playwrights Horizons), Danielle Buonaiuto, and Victoria Huston-Elem will join composer and vocalist Karl Saint Lucy in Orion's Belt: Selections from Different Stars at Pangea. The concert is a 60-minute cut of Saint Lucy's queer song cycle, Different Stars, and marks the first time the songs have been performed together as a set.

Studio Luna by Teatro Luna West, located in Boyle Heights, is pleased to announce the return of Talking While Female Storytelling Sessions (TWF) . Season 2 will be kicking off Friday, January 18 at 8:00PM with a special New Year, New You Holiday Episode which will focus on the theme 'NOW OR NEVER'. TWF Storytelling sessions were launched in 2018 to answer the need for spaces for women of color share stories in a brave and empowering space that is dedicated to supporting their growth and the amplification of their joy. 10th Annual Mexico/United States Playwright Exchange

The Lark is thrilled to announce the 10 th Anniversary celebration of the Mexico/United States Playwright Exchange. For a full decade, this synergetic program has brought Mexican writers to the U.S. and U.S. writers to Mexico to work together and with a community of bilingual actors and stage directors on translating their plays. The shared artistic process is aimed at creating a deeper understanding between our countries and cultures. From December 4-7, 2016, The Lark will bring together the program's artists and audiences for a festival featuring readings of excerpts from 38 of the plays translated through this program. Events are open to the public and free of charge.
