This holiday season, The New Orleans Museum of Art and The NOLA Project present their eighth collaboration, bringing a classic story to bold new life in the museum's Great Hall. In December, the award-winning, independent theatre company will transform NOMA into the mysterious land of Illyria in Shakespeare's 'Twelfth Night; or, What You Will.' The Bard's comedy tells the story of a pair of ill-fated twins who have been shipwrecked and must journey through a maze of strange surroundings and quirky characters to find their way back to one another.

The Laurie Beechman Theatre, at the West Bank Cafe, presents Travis Moser in This Can't Be Love: The Songs of Rodgers and Hart tonight, December 2nd at 7pm.

Tony Award-nominee Annaleigh Ashford will bring her unique brand of humor and talent back to 54 Below for three December shows of Annaleigh Ashford - Lost in the Stars, which will run consecutively on Monday nights beginning tonight, December 1, 2014 at 9:30pm.

This December, Marin Theatre Company continues its 48th Season with a presentation of Reduced Shakespeare Company performing their The Complete History of Comedy (abridged), starring writer/directors Reed Martin and Austin Tichenor, with Dominic Conti. The "Bad Boys of Abridgement" will leave no joke untold as they deconstruct the entire history of comedy in a dizzying night's entertainment.

As the landmark American musical FIDDLER ON THE ROOF celebrates its 50th anniversary, Arena Stage is bringing the show to audiences new and old in production on the intimate and iconic Fichlander Stage. Arena's artistic director Molly Smith directs the production which features the original Jerome Robbins choreography adapted and restaged by Parker Esse. Jeffrey Walker of BroadwayWorld-DC caught up with actors Ann Arvia and Jonathan Hadary who play Golde and Tevye in the new production which is wowing audiences and dazzling critics each night. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Broadway production this fall, Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater mounts a new staging of Fiddler on the Roof, the iconic musical that has captured the hearts of audiences worldwide. Helmed by Artistic Director Molly Smith, the production features choreography by Arena favoriteParker Esse, who adapts the original Jerome Robbins choreography for an in-the-round staging, and a 10-piece orchestra led by Musical Director Paul Sportelli (Arena's My Fair Lady, Light in the Piazza). The production celebrated its opening on November 12 with Sheldon Harnick and more, and BroadwayWorld has photos below!

The Met Museum Presents concert, Simone Dinnerstein for the Holidays, features Poulenc's Suite francaise, Debussy'sSuite bergamasque, George Crumb's A Little Suite for Christmas, and Schubert's Sonata in B-flat major, D. 960.

Tony Award-winning playwright Joe DiPietro joins The Episcopal Actors' Guild (EAG) for a conversation about his work as part of their Anatomy of a Musical series. DiPietro's credits include the book and lyrics for Memphis and the book for Nice Work If You Can Get It.
