The Dallas Opera is proud to announce the five phenomenal mainstage productions of the 2015-2016 Season, “Seeking the Human Element,” to be presented in the magnificent Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House at the AT&T Performing Arts Center located in the Dallas Arts District.

“Drawn In” a dance concert presented by Dance Currents Inc. with guest artists from DanceVisions is set for January 31, 2015 at 7:30pm at Green Street Studios, 185 Green Street, Cambridge, MA 02139.

The Passion of Anne Frank, a haunting, major, new oratorio based on the Diary of Anne Frank, with music and lyrics composed by 125 high school students from downtown Los Angeles' Ramon C. Cortines School of Visual and Performing Arts, is being premiered by the students in conjunction with the Los Angeles Master Chorale Chamber Singers, professional instrumentalists, and student soloists in free matinee and evening performances on Thursday, January 22, at noon, and Friday, January 23, at 7 pm, at the high school's main auditorium.

Beats for Boobs, the all-volunteer San Francisco based organization that grants financial support to local breast cancer nonprofits, will present an electrifying evening of fashion, live performance art, and riotous DJs on turntables at their 11th annual fashion show and fundraiser on Saturday, January 24th from 7pm - 2am at Mezzanine, 444 Jessie Street, San Francisco, CA 94103. Signature Theatre has announced casting is confirmed and tickets are now on sale for BIG LOVE by Charles Mee, directed by Tina Landau. All tickets for the initial run of the production are $25 as part of the Signature Ticket Initiative: A Generation of Access. The production runs February 3 through March 15, 2015 with a February 23 opening night in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues).

Virginia's Signature Theatre is currently presenting the world premiere of Diner, the musical adaptation of the landmark film with a book by the movie's Academy Award®-winning screenwriter and director Barry Levinson (Rain Man, Bugsy, The Natural) and an original score by nine-time Grammy Award® winnerSheryl Crow. Directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award® Winner Kathleen Marshall (Broadway's Anything Goes, Nice Work If You Can Get It), the production began performances at Signature Theatre's MAX Theatre December 9. Writers Theatre presents The Diary of Anne Frank by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, adapted by Wendy Kesselman and directed Kimberly Senior. The show runs February 24 - May 31, 2015 at Books on Vernon, 664 Vernon Avenue, Glencoe. The Press Openings are Wednesday, March 4, and Thursday, March 5, 2014.

Riccardo Muti, Music Director of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, returns in January 2015 for several weeks of concerts with the CSO at both Symphony Center and Carnegie Hall. Muti's winter residency begins with performances in Chicago—on January 15, 16 and 17—of Brahms' Piano Concerto No. 2, featuring pianist Yefim Bronfman. The program closes with Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 1 (Winter Daydreams), part of the complete cycle of Tchaikovsky symphonies that Muti leads in the current season.
