TACT/The Actors Company Theatre, the critically-acclaimed and Drama Desk nominated Off-Broadway company 'dedicated to presenting neglected or rarely produced plays of literary merit,' presents the first New York revival in 30 years of The Killing of Sister George, the controversial 1964 play by Frank Marcus. The first production of the company's 22nd Season will be directed by TACT Company Member Drew Barr, who directed the company's Fall 2012 production ofBrian Friel's Lovers. The show opened at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues) on October 7, and performances will continue through November 1, 2014. Joe's Pub at The Public presents Largo, a night of song from the legendary concept album, on Thursday, October 30 at 7:00PM. Largo was produced and written in 1998 by Rick Chertoff and Rob Hyman, with co-writing by David Forman and Eric Bazilian. Signature Theatre (James Houghton, Founding Artistic Director; Erika Mallin, Executive Director) and Field Day (Stephen Rea and Seamus Deane, Directors) just announced casting is confirmed for the U.S. Premiere of A PARTICLE OF DREAD (OEDIPUS VARIATIONS) by Sam Shepard, directed by Nancy Meckler. Tickets go on sale October 15. All tickets for the initial run of the production are $25 as part of the Signature Ticket Initiative: A Generation of Access. The production runs November 11 through December 21, 2014 with aNovember 23 opening night in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing SquareSignature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues).

However, in GONE GIRL, author Gillian Flynn has effectively boiled down the very essence of her novel into a taut, enthralling script. Since no one knows this story better than Flynn, she was able to hand-pick the perfect elements from the Best Selling book to create a screenplay even more suspenseful and exhilarating than the source material, believe it or not.
