The Santa Barbara International Film Festival was in full swing last night as Margot Robbie and Allison Janney stormed the red carpet outside the Arlington Theatre. The Cincinnati Arts Association (CAA) is proud to present the 2018 Overture Awards Finals Competition. The Overture Awards provides $4,000 to six area high school students for education and training expenses, with eighteen finalists each winning $1,000. The program also provides a $2,500 Arts Educator Award for Excellence in Arts Instruction.

Black stars of television and documentary and narrative filmmakers converging to celebrate Black Public Media (BPM)'s signature series AfroPoP: The Ultimate Cultural Exchange; the public television documentary series about the global Black experience is now in its 10th year. Black Public Media is a national media arts organization that funds Black films and trains filmmakers.
