2018 Overture Awards Finals Competition Comes to Aronoff This March

The Cincinnati Arts Association (CAA) is proud to present the 2018 Overture Awards Finals Competition. The Overture Awards provides $4,000 to six area high school students for education and training expenses, with eighteen finalists each winning $1,000. The program also provides a $2,500 Arts Educator Award for Excellence in Arts Instruction.

Black stars of television and documentary and narrative filmmakers converging to celebrate Black Public Media (BPM)'s signature series AfroPoP: The Ultimate Cultural Exchange; the public television documentary series about the global Black experience is now in its 10th year. Black Public Media is a national media arts organization that funds Black films and trains filmmakers.

DIAL M FOR MURDER Opens At New Theater in Chinatown

There's a new performance venue in San Francisco, and the SF City Theatre Company has found a new home there. The Clarion Music Performing Arts Center is in San Francisco's Chinatown at 2 Waverly Place (at Sacramento Street.) SFCTC's first offering in the new venue will be Frederick Knott's suspense thriller, Dial M for Murder, March 10-24.
