Lena Dunham has joined the cast of ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Also joining the Quentin Tarantino film are Austin Butler, Lorenza Izzo, and Maya Hawke, the daughter of Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman.

RLJE Films has acquired all North American rights to the upcoming horror film All the Creatures Were Stirring. Written and directed by David Ian McKendry (The Dump) and Rebekah McKendry (The Barista), known for their amazing work at Fangoria and Blumhouse, the film stars Constance Wu (Crazy Rich Asians, "Fresh Off the Boat"), Amanda Fuller ("Orange is the New Black"), Jonathan Kite ("2 Broke Girls"), Jocelin Donahue (Insidious: Chapter 2) and Graham Skipper (The Mind's Eye).  RLJE plans to release the film on VOD, Digital and DVD on December 4, 2018.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey continues its 56th season with its third Main Stage production, Blithe Spirit. Veteran company member Victoria Mack, who was last seen on the Main Stage in this season's Tartuffe, will make her STNJ directing debut. Company favorites Brent Harris, Tina Stafford, Ames Adamson, and Susan Maris will be joined by Kate MacCluggage of The 39 Steps fame in this delightful British comedy by Noel Coward. Performances begin August 15. Patrons can purchase tickets at The F.M. This year, a living legend of musical theatre turns 90: Lyricist-bookwriter Tom Jones (who also, under a stage name) appeared in the original company of his most famous and wildly successful record-breaking musical, The Fantasticks. His collaborator, composer Harvey Schmidt, just recently passed away. The production's record-breaking run closed, on January 13, 2002, after 17,162 performances. Their shows also include 110 in the Shade, I Do! I Do!, Philemon, Celebration and many more. And celebration is what it's about when Broadway veterans Carole Demas, who originated the role of Sandy in Grease, and Sarah Rice, who originated the role of Johanna in Sweeney Todd, return to celebrate Jones & Schmidt. Demas and Rice have based the show on their 50 years of work and personal relationships with Tom and Harvey. With very special guest Broadway's Hal Robinson who is also a Fantasticks alumni.

Fashion Designer Amsale Aberra Will Be Honored by Harlem School of the Arts

American designer Amsale Aberra will be honored posthumously for her contributions to the world of couture by the Harlem School of the Arts at the Herb Alpert Center for the Arts. She will receive the Visionary Lineage Award and is among several high profiled members of the artistic community, whose contributions will be acknowledged during the organization's 2018 Masquerade Ball and After Party, to be held at the New York Plaza Hotel on October 22nd.
