The Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3 production of PLOT POINTS IN OUR SEXUAL DEVELOPMENT opened Monday night, October 22nd at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street). PLOT POINTS IN OUR SEXUAL DEVELOPMENT, a new play by Miranda Rose Hall, directed by Margot Bordelon, is set to run through Sunday, November 18.

New Village Arts has announced the San Diego premiere of MISS BENNET: CHRISTMAS AT PEMBERLEY for the holidays. MISS BENNET is written by Lauren Gunderson (the most-produced playwright in America in 2017) and Margot Melcon, and will be directed by NVA's Executive Artistic Director, Kristianne Kurner.

Roundabout Theatre Company announces the newest addition to the artistic team: Directing Fellow Kathleen Capdesuner. Capdesuner is the third Roundabout Directing Fellow; this season she is assisting Daniel Aukin (Apologia), James Macdonald (True West) and Margot Bordelon (Something Clean), working with the theatre's artistic team as a script reader, and using Roundabout's resources to develop her own projects.

RAISED BY GAYS AND TURNED OUT OK! is a one-person show written and performed by Elizabeth Collins, comedian and storyteller. 'Raised by Gays' debuted at the Hollywood Fringe Festival to rave reviews. Jason Rohrer, critic for Bitter Lemons said '...it's extremely funny. Collins writes of family drama with the wry observation of a David Sedaris and the understatement of a Sarah Vowell...' The show has since been to Houston, San Francisco, Santa Barbara and Bakersfield.

Pratidhwani - a Seattle area based organization for promoting South Asian performing arts and artists - will present I And You by Lauren Gunderson as a co-production with Theater Schmeater, running October 18th through November 3rd, 2018, performing at Theater Schmeater's home in Bell Town.

This year's conference topic is The Actors Audition: Preparation for Success and will focus on how actors use the Alexander Technique to maintain their presence throughout the audition process. The Royal Opera House is throwing open its doors every Sunday in November for an immersive new festival programme at just £5 per person. When Shakespeare Theatre Company first announced their 2018/19 season, I was hesitant. The season didn't feel grand enough to serve as a proper goodbye to Michael Kahn, who has developed this company into an international institution. Having now seen their first production, The Comedy of Errors, and their spectacular fall gala, I think it is safe to say my hesitation was unfounded. STC is sending their founder off with quite a spectacular farewell.

Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3 has announced that it will host a number of special events in conjunction with its production of PLOT POINTS IN OUR SEXUAL DEVELOPMENT, a new play by Miranda Rose Hall, directed by Margot Bordelon, currently in previews at the Claire Tow Theater.   The events, each curated with Ianne Fields Stewart and hosted at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street), will include 3 LGBTQ+ Singles Nights on Sunday, October 28th; Sunday, November 4th; and Sunday, November 11th; and 3 Post-Show Conversations on Thursday, November 1st; Thursday, November 8th; and Monday, November 12th. All events held post-show are free to ticket-holders for that evening's performance.
