'Artf*ckers' Returns to NY, Opens Off-Bway at DR2 on Feb.19

Following its sold-out limited run at Theater for the New City, Michael Domitrovich's shockingly topical and seductive new play 'Artf**kers,' directed by Eduardo Machado, will begin previews at the DR2 Theatre (103 East 15th Street) on Friday, February 8, with an Official Opening night set for Tuesday, February 19 @ 7:00pm.

Blue Heron Theatre is currently presenting the world premiere of Judi Komaki's If Truth Be Known, directed by Christine Simpson. The play, a sensitive drama that speaks to issues of race, gender, and class will host Komaki and Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Margo Jefferson in a post-performance talk-back following the regular performance on Friday, June 15 at 8:00 p.m.

Playwright Deb Margolin -- author of the plays 'Three Seconds in the Key,' 'Bringing the Fisherman Home' and 'Rock Scissors Paper' -- is the recipient of the $15,000 '2005 Kesselring Prize' for playwriting, it has been announced by O. Aldon James, president of The National Arts Club, which presents the Kesselring each year to an emerging American playwright. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Kesselring Prize.
