The Talent Company will present the Leonard Bernstein-Stephen Sondheim-Arthur Laurents musical classic, 'West Side Story,' July 9 through August 9 in the NewTimes Theatre at the New York State Fairgrounds.
Opening night for The Golden Gays is set for September 10th 2009 at the Cavern Club Theatre in Silver Lake. Produced by Los Angeles based writer John Trapper, this new work explores the world of four older gay men who are unhealthily obsessed with the famous foursome. Thanks to their equally dysfunctional therapist, they are able to explore their obsession through a novel new therapy. Through the process, they are also able to search their shallow souls for answers to other questions facing older gay men, the answers often coming in the form of a show tune from the decades familiar to thirty-somethings and above.

HELP IS ON THE WAY XV will be held Sunday, August 2, 2009 at the Herbst Theatre in San Francisco, benefiting four Bay Area AIDS service organizations.
At the Sunday, August 16, workshop, two short plays will be read and discussed: Matt Hanf's 'You Can't Get a Decent Margarita at the North Pole,' and Bernie Goldberg's 'Your Cursing Days Are Over.'

Cleverly written, witty, engaging, and not in any way connected to reality, The Little Dog Laughed is about as deep as the nursery rhyme from which the play gets its title. However, if you can suspend your disbelief, it's an entertaining bit of whimsy.
