Artists in Partnership (AIP), a non-profit cultural arts organization, will host its 12th Annual Cabaret Festival May 15-18 at the Long Beach Public Library, 111 West Park Avenue, Long Beach, NY. All performances are FREE to the public. The festival will be a celebration of the cabaret genre honoring the Great American Songbook with performances by renowned local and New York City-based artists.

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will make its premiere performance at THE RRAZZ ROOM on Thursday, April 17 at 8:00 PM. After extended runs at 54 Below and Joe's Pub in New York, the show will make its Pennsylvania debut with this show. The Meeting* has been called 'delicious and delightfully droll' by The New York Post, and 'hilarious and sardonic' by The Village Voice. A recent story for Slate.com called the evening 'so deliciously icy that it left me shivering with fear and delight.' The show will feature special guests Colleen McHugh.

Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum presents five new curated exhibitions showcasing contemporary work by emerging and internationally recognized artists.Exhibitions will be celebrated at a free reception, Friday, May 9, 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. in the museum courtyard. The reception will feature musical entertainment by Bluesman Mike and The Blues Review Band, light refreshments and an opportunity to meet the artists. Eric Yves Garcia is bringing his show, 'One Night Standards,' back to The Laurie Beechman Theater with two performances on March 1st and April 5th, before taking it to the prestigious Brownville Music Festival in mid-April. This ends a run which originally included a single performance on November 9th, and was extended to include December 2nd and February 1st.

On the heels of their one-year wedding anniversary, distinguished entertainers Christine Reisner-Rebic (an international cabaret chanteuse and dancer) and Don Rebic (Broadway and cabaret musical director and composer) will join forces for the New York City debut of their first full-length cabaret act as a duo. 'Look Who's in Love' features their original songs as well as songs by veteran Broadway composer Albert Hague (Christine's uncle) and timeless jazzy standards by Irving Berlin, Jule Styne, Jimmy Van Heusen, Betty Comden and Adolph Green. The show is directed by Michael Bush. The performance is set for Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at The Laurie Beechman Theatre at the West Bank Cafe, 407 West 42nd Street (at 9th Avenue), NYC. Almost every week hereafter, more guest stars will be announced, and soon after the holidays the winners, who will perform to show why they were chosen -- will finally be announced to the public. The winners will not make acceptance speeches because the Nightlife Awards is the only All-Performance Award Show.

Bruce Vilanch, winner of 3 Emmy Awards for writing TV's Oscar telecasts, the popular center square on Hollywood Squares, and the Broadway star of Hairspray, returns for his record 5th appearance as the host of the New York NIghtlife Awards at Town Hall on Monday, January 27th, 7 PM at The Town Hall. Mr. McDaniel makes his New York directorial debut with this show.
