On the heels of their one-year wedding anniversary, distinguished entertainers Christine Reisner-Rebic (an international cabaret chanteuse and dancer) and Don Rebic (Broadway and cabaret musical director and composer) will join forces for the New York City debut of their first full-length cabaret act as a duo. "Look Who's in Love" features their original songs as well as songs by veteran Broadway composer Albert Hague (Christine's uncle) and timeless jazzy standards by Irving Berlin, Jule Styne, Jimmy Van Heusen, Betty Comden and Adolph Green. The show is directed by Michael Bush. The performance is set for Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at The Laurie Beechman Theatre at the West Bank Cafe, 407 West 42nd Street (at 9th Avenue), NYC. TICKETS: $20 cover charge ($15 for MAC members) plus a $15 food/beverage minimum. RESERVATIONS: 212-695-6909 or www.LaurieBeechmanTheatre.com.

"Look Who's in Love" celebrates the possibility of finding love at any stage of life, with amusing patter that describes the couple's courting days, which led to their partnership in music and in life. They will premiere three songs they composed together: "You're Making Me Nervous," "Two Heads Are Better Than One," and "Leap of Faith;" attendees will each receive a complimentary copy of their first CD single, "Two Heads Are Better Than One." Christine and Don will also share insider anecdotes from their showbiz careers, including how they were both influenced by working with Bob Fosse.

Valentines and singles alike will be charmed by this multitalented couple. Don, who has served as the longtime musical director and pianist for such celebrated singers as Leslie Uggams and Karen Akers, will step into the spotlight for the first time as a singer. In addition to singing, Christine will play violin live and dance to her own prerecorded violin solo.

Christine Reisner-Rebic, a native of Tenafly, NJ, grew up in musical theater as the niece of Broadway composer Albert Hague (Plain and Fancy, Tony Award winner for Redhead) and his wife, Renée Orin Hague, also a Broadway veteran. After graduating from high school, Christine made her professional dance debut in Paris at Le Palais du Sport and went on to work with such notables as Leonide Massine, Rosella Hightower, Luigi and Alwin Nikolais-with whom she toured internationally for four years. A gifted singer as well as a dancer, she was the star of La Nouvelle Eve cabaret in Paris among other headlining engagements in France. After returning to musical theater, she appeared in several off-Broadway musicals including New York City revivals of Burt Bacharach's Promises Promises and Cole Porter's Can Can, and the Pepsi Cola industrial show at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. In 2009 her first CD, "Beginner's Luck," received a rave review by Fanfare magazine and airplay around the country and by Jonathan Schwartz on WNYC FM. Her second album, "Songs of Albert Hague," was released in 2012. Christine has presented two cabaret shows, "Songs of Albert Hague" and "Unearthing Treasures," at the Metropolitan Room in New York City.
