Brandon Coleman shares a brand new video, “Be With Me,” directed by Lauren Desberg and the latest from his upcoming album Interstellar Black Space via Brainfeeder. The album was announced with lead single “Blast Off” and will feature contributions from fellow jazz heavyweights Kamasi Washington, Ryan Porter, and more.

Composer, filmmaker and interdisciplinary artist Samora Pinderhughes’ highly anticipated album GRIEF is out now. Additionally, watch a special NPR Tiny Desk performance of “The Cry/Masculinity,” “Holding Cell,” “Grief” and “Process” filmed onsite at The Healing Project exhibition at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.

The album is an integral element of Pinderhughes’ years-long multimedia effort on loss, structural violence and possibilities for healing and liberation, The Healing Project, which consists of three parts: a physical exhibition, a digital archive and finally an album. The Nasher Sculpture Center announces 'SCULPTING SOUND: Twelve Musicians Encounter Bertoia', a series of six historic concerts, from February 22–27, 2022, bringing together twelve master musicians to explore the expressive range of Harry Bertoia's sounding sculptures, in complement to the exhibition Harry Bertoia: Sculpting Mid-Century Modern Life on view at the Nasher January 29 – April 23, 2022.
