Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Below, BroadwayWorld brings you some cabaret highlights for this week as picked by our theatre editors, including: Broadway Song & Dance Man: Clyde Alves at Birdland; Ladies of Eve, Featuring Daisy Eagan, Ellyn Marie Marsh, and More; Mara Wilson & Jenny Jaffe Present: Send in the Clowns; George Abud: Never Been Young with Special Guests Mary Beth Peil & Elizabeth A. ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, NY: The Bard SummerScape festival presents an entirely new way to experience Oklahoma!, Rodgers and Hammerstein's quintessential celebration of the American frontier. Starring Damon Daunno, Amber Gray, and two-time Tony nominee Mary Testa, Bard's production is directed by Daniel Fish - 'a magical manipulator' (New York Times) - with new musical arrangements for a six-piece Americana band by Henry Hewes Award-winner Daniel Kluger, and new choreography by Jacob's Pillow Dance Award-winner John Heginbotham. This intimate, revelatory production brings audience and artists together in the round, sharing food and telling the story of a young nation forming its identity. Oklahoma!will be mounted in 25 performances between June 25 and July 19 in the LUMA Theater of the Frank Gehry-designed Fisher Center. SummerScape also presents Fernando Rubio's Everything by my side, an alfresco performance-installation that takes place outdoors under the trees in Bard's glorious Hudson Valley landscape (July 9-12).

By popular demand, The York Theatre Company and producers Amy Engelhardt and Heather Shields, will present the March edition of the new musical theater game show called Tune in Time, hosted by Emily McNamara. Music direction is by Nate Buccieri, and Sheila Head is the annoyingly insistent timekeeper, on Monday, March 9, 2015 at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (Citicorp Building, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). Additional dates announced include April 5, May 4, with more to come. All performances will begin at 7:30 p.m.

ULTRAVIOLET LIVE [UVL] is a New York University tradition showcasing the best of NYU student talent. Preliminary rounds are hosted across the university's campuses in New York, Shanghai and Abu Dhabi and the best 15 acts compete live at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. UVL, sponsored by the Inter-Residence Hall Council [IRHC] and Tisch Alumni Relations, is now in its twelfth year. UltraViolet Live is tonight, February 26th at 7pm in the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.

As BWW reported earlier this evening, comedian and Academy Award-winning actor Robin Williams died this morning, August 11, 2014, of an apparent suicide. He was 63. A slew of stars took to Twitter following the announcement to express their gratitude to the performer and wish him well.
