​​​​​​​Chicago Shakespeare Theater announces the cast and creative team for the upcoming production of William Shakespeare's Measure for Measure, staged by celebrated director Henry Godinez in the Courtyard Theater, October 21–November 27, 2022.

What did our critic think of ANNA IN THE TROPICS at Bay Street Theatre? Sag Harbor's Bay Street Theatre certainly has another hit on their hands with their latest offering, the Pulitzer winning Anna in the Tropics. The stellar production, the second of their current season, runs through July 24th at the adorable East End venue. It was on Broadway from the Fall of 2003 to early 2004 and this showing is indeed not one to be missed.

Boundless Theatre Company (Maria-Cristina Fuste, Executive Artistic Director) has opened submissions for Boundless Exposed, a workshop and mentoring opportunity for emerging theatre designers of color. During this two-week program, participating designers will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced mentors in shaping an installation-style design appropriate for a short play.

On January 10th, A.R.T./NY named Boundless Theatre Company (Maria-Cristina Fuste, Executive Artistic Director) one of the 2019 recipients of the Edith Lutyens and Norman Bel Geddes Design Enhancement Fund Grant! This grant was awarded to enhance the design of Boundless' upcoming production of Fur by Migdalia Cruz, directed by Elena Araoz. Three women designers of color - costume designer Sarita Fellows, scenic designer Regina Garcia, and lighting designer Maria-Cristina Fuste - will use the grant funding to more fully realize their artistic vision for the production.

The Suzi Bass Awards revealed nominations for the 2017-2018 Atlanta professional theatre season on Monday evening, August 27, to patrons and industry artists. The Suzi Nomination Party was generously hosted by Synchronicity Theatre, at 7:30pm, One Peachtree Pointe, 1545 Peachtree St. NE #102, Atlanta.  

The Princess Grace Foundation-USA (PGF-USA) has announced the winners of the 2018 Princess Grace Awards. The Awards will be presented at the annual Princess Grace Awards Gala and continue the legacy of Princess Grace (Kelly) of Monaco, who helped emerging artists pursue their artistic goals during Her lifetime. In total, the Foundation is awarding over $1 million to artists in theater, dance, and film. In the presence of Her Serene Highness The Princess of Monaco, this year's Gala will be held at Cipriani 25 Broadway on October 16, 2018. The evening will be co-chaired by Dennis and Phyllis Washington and Anne Sweeney and Phillip Miller.

Directed by Elena Araoz, the production will run from September 7 through September 30 at Teatro Circulo, located at 64 East 4th Street. The opening is set for Saturday, September 15.

ABIGAIL/1702 is playwright Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa's exploration of the aftermath of the 1692 Salem witch trials. Merrimack Repertory Theatre and Director Tlaloc Rivas push all the right buttons to give the audience a scary ride. The outstanding design elements create an atmosphere that is spooky on many levels, and Rachel Napoleon is convincing as the troubled young accuser trying to escape her past.

Boundless Theatre Company is pleased to announce BOUNDLESS EXPOSED, a series of exciting events and gatherings of artists for the month of May.
