The Old Globe has announced the full cast and creative team for its 25th annual production of Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Globe Resident Artist James Vásquez (Hair) directs San Diego’s yuletide favorite musical once again with Andrew Polec reprising his role as The Grinch.

Review: HUMAN MEASURE at Canadian Stage

In Human Measure, artist Cassils’ first piece of contemporary dance choreographed by Jasmine Albuquerque, trans and nonbinary bodies are highlighted. A rejoinder to Yves Klein's Anthropometries paintings, in which naked women were painted blue and then dragged across canvases as living brushes, the piece frames its subjects as creators, not tools.

ENCANTO Hollywood Bowl Concert to Stream on Disney+

The spectacular concert production, on a massive scale will reunite the all-star cast who will perform the songs from the Oscar-winning film, including fan-favorite musical numbers such as “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” and “Surface Pressure,” at the iconic Hollywood Bowl. The special will include with a special introduction by Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Corona Performing Works Premieres KLYTAIMNESTRA Next Month

ALESSANDRA CORONA PERFORMING WORKS celebrates its 10th Anniversary Season with the premiere of 'KLYTAIMNESTRA,' choreographed by Alessandra Corona in collaboration with the Company.  Set to the original score 'Proseccio' by Thomas Lentakis and Gary Mosca, the dramatic new work will be performed November 18 at JREC Theater in Julia Richman High School.

BORIMIX Returns In November For Puerto Rican Heritage Month

The 17th annual BORIMIX returns this November, celebrating Puerto Rican Heritage Month with a month-long, citywide festival of Puerto Rican artists in theatre, dance, music and the visual arts. A collaboration of Teatro SEA, Teatro LATEA, The Clemente, and CENTRO (Hunter College's Center for Puerto Rican Studies), BORIMIX makes Puerto Rican arts accessible to a multi-ethnic and multi-generational audience, promoting creative collaboration between Latinx artists.

Cast Announced for Jaime Lozano's New Musical DESAPARECIDAS at JACK

With an all female Mexican cast, Lozano’s new Mexican musical DESAPARECIDAS will start rehearsals next week. Florencia Cuenca (Children of Salt, A Never-Ending Line) will lead this ensemble piece with her character of “La Jenni”. It will run Dec 2nd through the 18th.

Kander & Ebb's NEW YORK, NEW YORK Will Open On Broadway This Spring

Producers Sonia Friedman and Tom Kirdahy have announced that the brand new Kander & Ebb musical, NEW YORK, NEW YORK, will begin performances on Broadway Friday, March 24, 2023 and officially open Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Broadway’s St. James Theatre.
