Austin Pendleton Directs WOMAN BEFORE A GLASS, Previews 5/13

Austin Pendleton will direct the first Off-Broadway revival of WOMAN BEFORE A GLASS by Lanie Robertson. The original production opened at the Promenade Theatre in 2005 and earned actress Mercedes Ruehl an Obie award for her performance.

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) presents the TRU Writer-Director Communications Lab on Saturday, February 19, 2011 from 1pm to 7pm at The Players Theatre, 115 MacDougal Street, Studio 3C. According to the NY Times, Broadway's Arthur Laurents and partner, Tom Hatcher have awarded playwright Jeff Talbott their first Laurents-Hatcher Award. Talbott, an actor who's play THE SUBMISSION will make its off- Broadway debut at MCC Theatre this year, will receive a $150,000 prize.
