Once upon a time, in a far-away land called the Upper West Side, there lived a little girl who was scared of Disney movies. She bravely soldiered through 'Toy Story' and 'Cars' with white knuckles for the benefit of her two-year-old brother, but to this day her parents still have to fast forward through the opening scene of 'Finding Nemo'. (You know....where the other-May ies-Day....get it?) So it was with great trepidation that I took this ultra-sensitive daughter of mine to an advance screening of Disney's latest mega-release, 'Tangled'.

The event starts at 10:30 a.m. (press check-in at 10) on Friday, November 19, 2010 at the new Disney Store in Times Square, located at 1540 Broadway.

Additionally, Natasha Bedingfield, a member of the VH1 Save The Music Alumni Ambassador Group, performed and the program for the evening, presented by LG Mobile Phones celebrated music as a universal language that shapes our life stories with a special tribute to the 45th Anniversary of Rodgers & Hammerstein's The Sound of Music by Kristin Chenoweth. JERSEY BOYS, the Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning international hit musical, has raised $43,521 to benefit New York Public Schools through the VH1 Save The Music Foundation.
