Last night, June 18, The Public Theater celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the Delacorte Theater, home of Shakespeare in the Park, and honored Al Pacino for his body of work at The Public. The evening included a benefit reading of Romeo and Julie featuring Kevin Kline as Romeo and Meryl Streep as Juliet. On hand to celebrate were the likes of Julia Stiles, Chelsea Clinton, Steve Martin and many more who have both particiated and enjoyed the works at the Delacorte. END OF THE RAINBOW made its Broadway premiere last night, April 2, at the Belasco Theatre. Afterwards, BroadwayWorld.com was there to capture the show's opening night party!

Performances began October 12 at 8 pm at the Booth Theatre for Jon Robin Baitz's critically acclaimed new play OTHER DESERT CITIES directed by Joe Mantello. This Lincoln Center Theater production features Stockard Channing, Rachel Griffiths, Stacy Keach, Judith Light and Thomas Sadoski. The production officially opened last night, November 3 and BroadwayWorld was on hand for the after party.

'God of Carnage' open last night, April 13, at 8 p.m. at the Center Theatre Group / Ahmanson Theatre reuniting the original Tony Award-nominated Broadway cast of Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, James Gandolfini and Marcia Gay Harden in the scathingly funny, Tony Award-winning Best Play.
