Mary Murphy, the enthusiastic and passionate judge on 'So You Think You Can Dance,' made her Broadway debut on Tuesday, December 22nd when she joined the sizzling cast of BURN THE FLOOR, including current stars Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Kym Johnson of 'Dancing with the Stars.' Kym, who made her Broadway debut in BURN THE FLOOR on November 27th, took home this season's coveted DWTS Mirror Ball Trophy with partner Donny Osmond. The producers of Broadway's dance sensation, BURN THE FLOOR, announced today that Dancing with the Stars' pro Kym Johnson will close out her banner Thanksgiving week by making her Broadway debut in BURN THE FLOOR, at The Longacre Theatre. Earlier this week, she took home the mirror ball trophy with Donny Osmond on the hit dance competition series. Her first performance will be Friday November 27 at 2 PM. She will be partnered with DWTS' Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who made his Broadway debut in the show this summer.

It is has been quite a season on ABC's Dancing with the Stars. Contestants Ultimate Fighter Chuck Lidell and former Senator Tom DeLay (both of whom were cast off the show relatively early on) sparred; DeLay and Kathy Ireland and Kelly Osbourne suffered the expected bumps and bruises; and superstars such as Alicia Keys, the Bee Gees provided musical backdrops.

The New York Post is reporting that DWTS' Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Kym Johnson will be dancing their way into Broadway's recently extended BURN THE FLOOR after Thanksgiving. A representative for the show has confirmed that the pair will perform through mid-January, 2010.
