Mehr! Entertainment builds a visionary venue for high end-entertainment within Hamburg's Grossmarkt. Construction work will start in September 2013. In November 2012, the contracts were signed with the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.

As of today, January 1st, 2013, Mehr! Entertainment will take over major share-holding of the renowned Hamburg concert organizer a.s.s. concerts & promotion GmbH. This move enables the Duesseldorfer Mehr! Entertainment Group to further expand its portfolio with the segment of concerts in the German speaking area and thus to strengthen its position as leading supplier of first-class live entertainment. As full service provider, Mehr! Entertainment offers the entire range from ticket purchasing to the live event itself for a variety of products - from Shows, Theatre, Opera and Musical, even to Adventure Exhibitons and, in future, Rock-Pop Concerts.

Germany's number one musical metropolis will boast another theatre, and one of the most astonishing kind at that! The contracts have been signed: Grossmarkt Hamburg, represented by Government Agency for Economy Transport and Innovation / State Office Grossmarkt and Mehr! Entertainment have agreed on building a theatre in a part of the listed halls within Hamburg's Grossmarkt.

A few weeks back, BroadwayWorld.com's international sources tipped us off to the fact that composer Frank Wildhorn was having quite the European adventure this past summer, with new productions of Dracula, Jekyll & Hyde, The Scarlet Pimpernel and Rudolf, taking the continent of Europe by storm in Germany, Italy, Austria, Hungary and more. In addition, a musical theatre festival named after him as well as word that the Far East is joining in the Wildhorn fever as well.
Stage Entertainment Announces New CEO

Henk Kivits, who announced his move from President of the Executive Board of Holland Casino to the international theater company founded by Joop van den Ende today, will take the leadership of Stage Entertainment. Starting September 1st, Kivits will be Stage Entertainment's Chief Executive Officer.
