OBERON, the American Repertory Theater's (A.R.T.) second stage and club-theater venue on the fringe of Harvard Square, announces events to be presented at OBERON during May and June 2018-including OBERON Presents, Glowberon, usual suspects, and more.

Outfest – the Los Angeles based non-profit organization promoting equality by creating, sharing, and protecting LGBTQ stories on the screen – today announced its 2018 Achievement Award recipient, Angela Robinson, and its galas, including Opening and Closing Night, for the 2018 Outfest Los Angeles LGBTQ Film Festival, presented by HBO. The nation's leading LGBTQ festival will be held July 12-22, 2018.

Orange County Music & Dance, a non-profit community performing arts school, founded by Pick Up Stix founder Charlie Zhang, created a once in a lifetime chance for underserved youth to learn and perform alongside professional musicians. Grammy-award winning bassist and producer Randy Jackson emceed the show. John Rzeznik, guitarist and front man of the Goo Goo Dolls, headlined the concert, performing several solos pieces, as well as songs with the youth musicians. Nancy Wilson of Heart performed!

New York's funniest show Celebrity Autobiography has two NYC shows on June 2 and June 4 at 7pm at The Triad (158 West 72nd Street) which will feature stars of stage & screen including Michael Urie, 4-time Oscar-nominee Marsha Mason, Tate Donovan, Tony Award-winner Karen Ziemba, Emmy-nominee Jackie Hoffman (FX's Feud), John Fugelsang (SiriusXM Insight), Grammy Award-winner Peter Asher, Alysia Reiner (Better Things, Orange is the New Black), Scott Adsit (30 Rock, Veep), 5-time Emmy-winner Alan Zweibel and Drama Desk-winners Eugene Pack & Dayle Reyfel. May is promising to be a busy month at the Epstein Theatre where there is a packed programme of theatre, music, comedy and family entertainment.

In just two weeks, Capezio Dance Foundation presents: Capezio celebrates 130 years of excellence in a one-night only special Awards and show on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 7:30 pm at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts, 361 Symphony Park Avenue, Las Vegas NV 89106. A glorious production will highlight some of the magical history of Capezio with numerous dance legends and stars of stage and screen saluting this milestone. The mega-musical opened on London's West End...and closed a month later. WHOOPS! 'Desperately Seeking the Exit' is Pete's critically acclaimed true story of the making and unmaking of his notorious flop that played everywhere from the USA, to the UK, to Australia. At this special reading, the show gets a new twist as his roller coaster tale is joined by the talents of chanteuse/impressionist Christina Bianco, Time Out NY Theater Critic Adam Feldman, Broadway/solo star Alison Fraser, Classical Theatre of Harlem's Ty Jones, noted storyteller David Lawson, and solo star Amy Marcs.

Jazz clarinetist Ken Peplowski will pay tribute to jazz legend Benny Goodman at the Bickford Theatre on Thursday, May 3.  He and his Sextet, featuring Chuck Redd on vibes, Rossano Sportiello on piano, Sean Smith on bass, Matt Witek on drums, and Hilary Gardner on vocals, remember the great clarinetist in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the famous Carnegie Hall Jazz Concert of 1938.
